摘要

Abstract

Based on the COMSOL Multiphysics finite element software,the effects of electrode struc-tures and arrays on the effective thrust and thrust-to-power ratio of ion wind were studied.First,the influen-cing factors of ion wind under parallel-placed electrode structures were analyzed,and the optimal paramet-ers were determined.Then,the parallel-and cross-placed electrode structures were compared,and it was found that under the same electrode spacing,the cross-placed structure generated a greater effective thrust.Furthermore,different electrode array structures were explored,and the results show that at an array spa-cing of 40 mm,the effective thrust and thrust-to-power ratio of the cross-placed array increase by 15.45%and 2.92%,respectively,compared to those of the parallel-placed array;at a spacing of 50 mm,the effect-ive thrust of the cross-placed array increases by 27.6%,while its thrust-to-power ratio decreases by only 5.6%.It can be seen that under a small array spacing,the cross-placed array can significantly enhance the effective thrust and maintain a high thrust-to-power ratio,which is suitable for the electrode array design of compact ion wind-propelled unmanned aerial vehicles and helps to improve the effective payload of the un-manned aerial vehicles.
