Research progress of Welwitschia mirabilis
摘要
Abstract
Since the discovery of Welwitschia mirabilis in 1859,botanists worldwide have conducted extensive research on its morphology,physiology,ecology,taxonomy,and molecular biology.This paper systematically reviews the research advances of W.mirabilis in classification,endangered status and conservation,photosynthetic metabolic mode,tissue culture,and phylogenetic evolution.Future research directions are also proposed.The findings provide a theoretical reference for the development and rational utilization of the rare germplasm resources of Welwitschia mirabilis.关键词
