摘要

Abstract

Orchidaceae plants are a"flagship"group for biodiversity conservation,and the preservation of their germplasm resources is of great significance.Cryopreservation is a relatively safe,economical and effective method for long-term preservation of plant resources,and has been successfully applied to the germplasm preservation of various tissues or organs of orchids,including seeds,protocorms,protocorm-like bodies,shoot tips,and pollen.Among these,seed cryopreservation is one of the effective ways to maintain the genetic diversity of orchid germplasm.This paper reviews the principles and advantages of seed cry opreservation techniques for orchids both domestically and internationally,as well as the key operational procedures and major influencing factors of preservation and post-thaw germination.This paper summarizes the existing problems and key research directions,can provide a reference for the development and optimization of cryopreservation techniques for orchid germplasm resources.
