摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of terbutaline nebulized inhalation in the treatment of pediatric pneumonia and to analyze its impact on sleep quality and quality of life. Methods:A total of 80 children with pneumonia admitted to the De-partment of Pediatrics at Xinghua People's Hospital Affiliated to Yangzhou University from August 2023 to April 2024 were select-ed as the study subjects and randomly divided into two groups according to the random number table method. The control group(n=40)was treated with azithromycin sequential therapy, while the observation group(n=40)was treated with terbutaline nebuliz-ed inhalation combined with azithromycin sequential therapy. The clinical efficacy, pulmonary function indicators, sleep condi-tions,and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, compared with the control group, the total effective rate of the observation group was relatively higher, and the total daily sleep duration and nocturnal sleep duration of the children were longer, indicating overall better sleep conditions. The frequencies of daytime awakenings and nocturnal awak-enings in the observation group were lower than those of the control group. The pulmonary function indicators and quality of life scores in both groups were higher than their respective baseline levels before treatment, and the increase in these parameters in the observation group was greater than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Terbutaline nebulized inhalation combined with azithromycin sequential therapy is more effective in the treatment of pediatric pneumonia, and can simultaneously improve sleep conditions, promote the improvement of sleep quality and quality of life, and accelerate the recovery of pulmonary function.关键词
