耳穴压豆与针灸联合中医定向透药疗法对颈椎病患者功能恢复及睡眠质量的影响
Effects of Auricular Acupressure Combined with Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) Directed Drug Permeation Therapy on Functional Recovery and Sleep Quality in Patients with Cervical Spondylosis

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of auricular acupressure combined with acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)directed drug permeation therapy on functional recovery and sleep quality in patients with cervical spondylosis.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 82 patients with cervical spondylosis admitted to the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Xinghu Hospital,Suzhou Industrial Park,from August 2022 to August 2025.The subjects were ran-domly assigned to either a control group or an observation group using a random number table method,with 41 cases in each group.The control group received acupuncture combined with TCM directed drug permeation therapy,while the observation group received additional auricular acupressure therapy.The clinical efficacy,cervical functional recovery,changes in neurotransmitter levels,and improvements in sleep quality were compared between the two groups.Results:The observation group exhibited a high-er overall treatment effectiveness rate compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Regarding cervical function,there was no statisti-cally significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the observation group demonstra-ted lower Neck Disability Index(NDI)scores and Visual Analog Scale(VAS)scores,along with higher Cervical Spine Functional Status Scale(CASCS)scores compared to the control group(P＜0.05).In terms of neurotransmitter levels,there was no signifi-cant difference between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05),but after treatment,the observation group showed better neu-rotransmitter profiles compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Regarding sleep quality,as measured by the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),there was no significant difference in the scores of each dimension and the total score between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the control group had lower scores than the control group(P＜0.05).Con-clusion:The combined application of auricular acupressure,acupuncture,and TCM directed drug permeation therapy in the treat-ment of patients with cervical spondylosis not only enhances the therapeutic effect and promotes cervical functional recovery but also regulates neurotransmitter levels and improves patients' sleep quality.关键词
