Abstract
Objective To investigate the predictive value of Galectin-3(Gal-3)and urea/albumin ratio(UAR)for long-term all-cause death in patients with acute heart failure(AHF).Methods A total of 66 patients with AHF who were hospitalized in the Department of Cardiology,Aviation General Hospital from February 2019 to May 2020 were retrospectively selected as the study subjects.The clinical data of the patients were collected.After discharge,the patients were followed up for 5 years,and all-cause death was recorded.The patients were divided into the death group(22 cases)and the survival group(44 cases)according to incidence of all-cause death.Binary Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of long-term all-cause death in patients with AHF.ROC curve was drawn to evaluate the predictive value of Gal-3,UAR and their combination for long-term all-cause death in patients with AHF.Results There were significant differences in NYHA classification,TC,NT-proBNP,Gal-3 and UAR between the two groups(P<0.05).Binary Logistic regression analysis results showed that NT-proBNP[OR=1.001,95%CI(1.000-1.002)],Gal-3[OR=1.101,95%CI(1.033-1.173)]and UAR[OR=1.115,95%CI(1.044-1.190)]were independent influencing factors of long-term all-cause death in AHF patients(P<0.05).The results of ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of Gal-3,UAR and their combination in predicting long-term all-cause death in patients with AHF was 0.758[95%CI(0.642-0.874)],0.736[95%CI(0.600-0.871)],and 0.788[95%CI(0.669-0.907)]respectively.Conclusion Elevated Gal-3 and UAR are independent risk factors for long-term all-cause death in patients with AHF,and Gal-3,UAR and their combination have a moderate predictive value for long-term all-cause death in patients with AHF.关键词
