Impact Effect and Action Mechanism of Digital Finance on the Development of the Real Economy

Abstract
Digital finance provides a new realization path for serving the real economy and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.This paper takes the manufacturing panel data of 30 prefecture-level and above cities in the Yangtze River Delta and Sichuan-Chongqing regions of China from 2014 to 2024 as samples,and based on the realistic back-ground of the accelerated development of the digital economy and coordinated regional advancement,systematically examines the action mechanism and spatial effect of digital finance on the development of the real economy,with the aim of providing empirical support and empirical evidence for promoting the coordinated development of the two.The research results find that digital finance can significantly promote the development of the real economy,and this conclusion still holds after various endogeneity and ro-bustness tests.From a multi-dimensional perspective,the depth of use and the degree of digitization finance have significant pro-moting effects on the development of the real economy,while the effect of coverage breadth is not significant.The results of the me-diation effect test results show that digital finance can promote the development of the real economy by reducing financial risks,improving the level of human capital and promoting green innovation.The results of the spatial effect test show that the impact of digital finance on the development of the real economy can spread to surrounding regions through the spatial spillover effect and affect the development of the real economy in surrounding regions.关键词
