Early Identification and Monitoring of Geological Hazards in an Area of Tibet Based on SBAS-InSAR
摘要
Abstract
The southeast region of Tibet is characterized by steep terrain and intense tectonic activity.Early identification of geological hazards in this area is of significant importance for disaster prevention and mitigation. This study focuses on a region in Nyingchi,Tibet, and uses SBAS-InSAR technology to process 30 SAR images from Sentinel-1A between January 2023 and March 2024,generating surface deformation time-series data.Based on this data,an early identification and monitoring of landslide geological hazards in the study area were conducted. The results indicate that the southwestern part of the study area, along the Yarlung Zangbo River, experiences concentrated subsidence, with deformation values mainly ranging from-30 mm to-50 mm.The northeastern part of the area is generally more stable, with a small section exhibiting uplift.Six deformation concentration zones were identified, and by considering factors such as topography and geomorphology, five landslide hazards were further identified. Two typical landslide sites were selected from the identified hazards for time-series deformation analysis. The results show that the deformation in these two landslides is mainly influenced by rainfall, changes in the Yarlung Zangbo River's water level, and soil freeze-thaw cycles, with deformation primarily occurring between September and November. These findings can provide valuable references for early identification and monitoring of geological hazards in high-altitude areas.关键词
