Research Progress of Macrophage Function in Ovary
摘要
Abstract
Macrophages are the most abundant immune cells in the mammalian ovary.Their quantity and distribution undergo periodic changes throughout the ovarian cycle,making them key participants in various aspects of ovarian physiology.This paper systematically reviews recent research findings related to ovarian macrophages,focusing on their origin,differentiation pathways,and core physiological functions.Furthermore,it comprehensively analyzes the mechanisms and regulatory patterns of macrophages in both physiological processes and pathological states.The review summarizes their value in maintaining ovarian functional homeostasis.This paper aims to integrate existing research progress to provide new insights and a theoretical basis for deeply elucidating the mechanisms of ovarian physiological regulation and optimizing the development of animal reproductive regulation technologies,while also offering potential research directions for the prevention and treatment of ovarian-related diseases.关键词
