Abstract
At the 18th collective study session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee in December 2024,Xi Jinping emphasized that modernizing the frontier governance system and capacity is an inherent requirement of Chinese-style modernization,and identified the construc-tion of the Chinese national community as the central task of work in frontier ethnic regions.This paper develops three analytical insights from this directive:a comprehensive understanding of the significance of national community construction as the principal thread of all work in frontier ethnic regions;a precise grasp of the dialectical relationship between forging a sense of community for the Chinese nation and advancing Chinese national community construction;and a recognition of the foundational and guiding role of Party-building in this process.关键词
