Abstract

Cooperative sensing is an important implementation of integrated sensing and communication,realizing environmental sensing by reusing spatially separated communication transceivers and reference signals.With low cost,wide coverage,and high compatibility with existing communication architectures,it is expected to support 6G,digital twins,and other emerging applications.Since clock synchronization errors and drifts commonly exist between the transmitter and receiver,how to realize high-resolution dynamic target sensing with asynchronous signals becomes a critical issue.To address this problem,this paper proposes a high-resolution sensing framework for cooperative ISAC with clock asynchronism.Specifically,a covariance-based delay alignment method is first adopted to recursively estimate and compensate for relative time offsets among channel snapshots,thereby restoring the delay-domain coherence.Then,a reference static channel vector is used to compensate the residual time offset.Finally,a high-resolution angle-delay spectrum is constructed using the multiple signal classification algorithm,enabling dynamic target path detection and parameter estimation.Experimental results show that the proposed framework improves delay-Doppler spectrum focusing,enhances target-clutter separability,and achieves higher angle-delay resolution and parameter estimation accuracy in multi-target sensing scenarios,providing a feasible solution for high-resolution dynamic target sensing in clock-asynchronous cooperative sensing systems.
