Abstract
Objective To investigate the application value of multimodal image fusion navigation system combined with contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)in the detection of residual lesions after radiofrequency ablation(RFA)for liver cancer. Methods A total of 60 patients undergoing RFA for liver cancer admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to January 2026 were enrolled. All patients underwent sequential examinations of conventional ultrasound,CEUS,and multimodal image fusion navigation combined with CEUS.Taking pathological biopsy results or imaging/alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)findings as the gold standard, the detection efficacy of the three examination methods for residual lesions was compared. Results Among the 60 patients,18 cases(30.0%)were confirmed to have residual lesions by the gold standard. The detection sensitivity of conventional ultrasound,CEUS,and multimodal image fusion navigation system combined with CEUS for residual lesions was 44.4%,77.8%and 94.4%,respectively;the specificity was 95.2%,97.6%and 100.0%respectively;the accuracy was 80.0%,91.7%and 98.3%respectively;the positive predictive value was 80.0%,93.3%and 100.0%respectively;and the negative predictive value was 80.0%,91.1%and 97.7%respectively.Intergroup comparison showed that there were statistically significant differences in sensitivity, accuracy and negative predictive value among the three detection methods(P<0.05),while no significant differences were observed in specificity and positive predictive value(P>0.05).Conclusions Compared with conventional ultrasound and CEUS,multimodal image fusion navigation system combined with CEUS presents superior detection efficacy in detecting residual lesions, which can provide a reliable imaging basis for early and accurate clinical evaluation of the therapeutic effect of RFA.关键词
