Design and Application of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Combined Heat and Power System

Abstract
To achieve efficient cascade utilization of hydrogen energy and promote the engineering application of stationary proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)combined heat and power(CHP)systems,this paper takes the CHP system as the research object and carries out an integrated design of system architecture,thermal management,power electronics and energy storage.With the G120 fuel cell power generation module as the core,the system adopts a high-pressure hydrogen supply scheme,dual-loop thermal management,high-efficiency power conversion,and lithium battery black-start strategy,enabling stable operation in both grid-connected and off-grid modes.This CHP technology has been demonstrated in the Beijing Dongsheng Phase II Park and distributed energy scenarios in Australia,providing stable integrated energy services such as power supply and heating.The test results show that the system has a rated power generation of 100 kW,an electrical efficiency of 43.92%at rated operating point,a combined heat and power efficiency of 86.50%,and a total harmonic distortion≤3%,meeting the grid connection requirements.Research indicates that the PEMFC CHP system features high efficiency,high reliability and wide environmental adaptability,which can provide technical support and demonstration references for the engineering and commercialization of 100 kW-class stationary hydrogen-fueled CHP equipment.关键词
