Abstract
Catheter-related bloodstream infection(CRBSI)is a common and serious healthcare-associated infection(HAI)that directly affects patients'prognosis and medical safety.To standardize the management of peripheral indwelling catheters,the World Health Organization(WHO)has released the"Guidelines for the prevention of bloodstream infections and other infections associated with the use of intravascular catheters(part 1:peripheral catheters)",which provides evidence-based recommendations on key procedures,including catheter insertion,use,maintenance,and removal.The guidelines emphasize the core role of implementing aseptic techniques,strengthening medical training,and promoting patient participation in infection prevention and control,and have broad applicability.Scientific implementation of the guideline recommendations can help to improve nursing quality and reduce the incidence of CRBSI.关键词
