Abstract
The core and updated contents of the"Surviving Sepsis Campaign:International Guidelines for Management of Sepsis and Septic Shock 2026"are mainly reflected in five aspects.It advocates for individualized blood pressure targets and resuscitation strategies to avoid insufficient or excessive fluid resuscitation.The timing of antimicrobial therapy is based on risk stratification,aiming to balance"delaying treatment"with"unnecessary antibiotic exposure".Due to the limited evidence,most additional treatments are opposed to avoid increasing costs and potential risks.It also focuses on long-term outcomes and recovery,suggests health systems offering post critical illness follow-up services.The 2026 guidelines were developed with greater rigor and transparency.Efforts were made to promote the full-cycle management of sepsis.It recognizes the gap between evidence and reality.The guidelines do not provide uniform answers but clearly indicate which opinions are supported by evidence,which are common practices,and which require individualized decisions.The purpose of guidelines is to guide clinical behavior without significant bias,improve medical quality,and achieve patient-centered treatment.关键词
