Abstract
[Objective]To compare ultrasound findings on uterine involution at 6 weeks postpartum concerning different delivery modes and feeding methods, providing an important diagnostic basis for clinical practice and postpartum uterine recovery assessment.[Methods]A total of 1,359 parturients who underwent postpartum 6-week ultrasound examinations at Xuanwu Maternal and Child Health Center from January 2021 to September 2025 were selected, aged 22 to 42 years, with an average age of 32.5±4.2 years. They were divided into two groups based on delivery mode:cesarean section group(524 cases)and vaginal delivery group(835 cases).Based on the feeding method, the cesarean section group was further subdivided into cesarean-breastfeeding and cesarean-formula feeding groups, and the vaginal delivery group into vaginal-breastfeeding and vaginal-formula feeding groups.Uterine cavity abnormal echoes were detected via abdominal or transvaginal ultrasound, categorized and statistically analyzed.Comparative analysis of detection rates of uterine cavity abnormal echoes across groups was performed.[Results]Through abdominal and transvaginal ultrasound examination, among the 524 parturients in the cesarean section group at 6 weeks postpartum,152 cases showed uterine cavity abnormal echoes, with a detection rate of 29.01%.Among the 835 parturients in the vaginal delivery group,128 cases showed abnormal echoes, with a detection rate of 15.33%.The detection rate of uterine cavity abnormal echoes in the cesarean section group(29.01%)was significantly higher than that in the vaginal delivery group(15.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Among the 905 breastfeeding cases,177 showed abnormal echoes,a detection rate of 19.56%.Among the 405 formula feeding cases,103 showed abnormal echoes,a detection rate of 22.69%.The detection rate of uterine cavity abnormal echoes in the formula feeding group(22.69%)was significantly higher than that in the breastfeeding group(19.56%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the vaginal-breastfeeding group(556 cases),there were 82 abnormal cases, with a detection rate of 14.75%;in the vaginal-formula feeding group(279 cases),there were 46 abnormal cases, with a detection rate of 16.49%;in the cesarean-breastfeeding group(349 cases),there were 95 abnormal cases, with a detection rate of 27.22%;in the cesarean-formula feeding group(175 cases),there were 57 abnormal cases, with a detection rate of 32.57%.The detection rates in both the vaginal-breastfeeding and vaginal-formula feeding groups were significantly lower than those in the cesarean-breastfeeding and cesarean-formula feeding groups. All differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).[Conclusion]Different delivery modes and feeding methods significantly impact uterine recovery.Vaginal delivery combined with breastfeeding is the optimal combination for promoting uterine recovery, whereas cesarean section combined with formula feeding significantly delays the recovery process.Targeted interventions should be adopted for parturients with cesarean section and formula feeding to promote uterine recovery.Ultrasound examination can dynamically and accurately assess postpartum uterine involution, providing an important diagnostic basis for clinical practice and postpartum uterine recovery assessment.关键词
