Abstract

Objective To optimize the optimal preparation process of Tongfeng Jinhuang Gel Plaster.Methods Using water addition amount,extraction time,and extraction times as investigation factors,and extract yield as evaluation index,the L9(34)orthogonal test was employed to optimize the optimal extraction process of the extract.Using the dosages of sodium polyacrylate,aluminum glycinate,disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate(EDTA-2Na),medical glycerin,and tartaric acid as investigation factors,and sensory score as evaluation index,the single-factor test was employed to determine the matrix type affecting the molding.Using the dosages of sodium polyacrylate,aluminum glycinate,and EDTA-2Na as investigation factors,and initial adhesion,holding adhesion,and sensory score as evaluation indexes,the L9(34)orthogonal test method was employed to optimize the optimal molding process.Results The optimal extraction process involved decoceion pieces with 10 times the amount of water twice(first for 1 h,second for 40 min).The optimal molding process consisted of sodium polyacrylate 3.72 g,aluminum glycinate 0.078 g,EDTA-2Na 0.072 g,glycerin 15 g,and tartaric acid 0.132 g.Conclusion The Tongfeng Jinhuang Gel Plaster prepared by the optimized process exhibits good appearance,good adhesion,and residue-free peeling,meeting the requirements for clinical application.
