Abstract
With the rapid development of China's economy and society, the number of water related projects(such as bridge construction, water conservancy facilities, etc.)is increasing, and the potential impact on river ecosystems and aquatic biodiversity is gradually becoming prominent.Especially, higher requirements have been put forward for the protection of key ecolo gical functional areas such as the national level aquatic germplasm resource protection area in the Fuyang section of the Huai River. As a unique freshwater shellfish resource in China, the survival and reproduction of olive clams are highly dependent on the hydrology, water quality, and sediment environment of specific water bodies.Water related projects may directly change local hydrodynamic conditions, stir up sediment, and affect the physical and chemical properties of water bodies, thereby threatening the stability of olive clam habitats and the long-term preservation of germplasm resources. This article takes the Huaihe River Extra Large Bridge Water Crossing Project, which spans the Fuyang section of the Huaihe River and is a national level aquatic germplasm resource reserve for olive clams and clams,as the research object, and deeply explores the potential and actual impacts of its construction and operation on the ecological system of the reserve centered on olive clams and clams. The article first introduces the ecological value and survival needs of the protected area and its rare species, the olive clam, and outlines the engineering overview of the Huaihe River Bridge. On this basis, the system analyzed the suspended solids, noise, and vibration generated by engineering construction,as well as the long-term and cumulative adverse effects that may be caused to olive clams and their habitats during the operation period. In response to the above-mentioned impacts, this study focuses on demonstrating ecological compensation and restoration measures represented by active habitat reconstruction and scientific artificial breeding and release,as the fundamental way to mitigate inevitable residual impacts and promote population recovery. Finally, this article advocates for upgrading from"mitigating impacts"to"active restoration, compensation, and adaptive management"And implementing of long-term ecological monitoring and adaptive management, ensuring the effectiveness of protective measures through dynamic feedback mechanisms,in order to provide scientific references and practical paradigms for the coordinated development of similar major linear projects and ecologically sensitive areas.关键词
