补气升阳药食同源方治疗常驻高原人员气虚证临床研究
Clinical Study on the Treatment of Qi Deficiency Syndrome in Long-Term High-Altitude Residents with Buqi Shengyang Medicinal-Food Homologous Decoction

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the Buqi Shengyang Medicinal-Food Homologous Decoction(BQSY)in long-term high-altitude residents with qi-deficiency syndrome.Methods Sixty long-term high-altitude residents with qi deficiency syndrome were enrolled between June and July 2025 and randomly allocated to the intervention group(30 cases)and the control group(30 cases).The treatment group received BQSY granules,while the control group received Hongyi Capsules,both for 14 consecutive days.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome scores,qi deficiency syndrome scores,clinical symptom scores,oxygen saturation and adverse reactions were assessed in both groups on days 0,7 and 14.Results In the intervention group,TCM syndrome scores,qi deficiency syndrome scores,and clinical symptom scores for high-altitude reactions were significantly reduced after treatment compared with baseline(P<0.05).Among qi deficiency symptoms,fatigue(P<0.001),chest tightness and shortness of breath(P=0.010),and listlessness and lassitude(P=0.022)showed the most significant improvement.Among high-altitude reaction symptoms,palpitations(P=0.002),headache(P=0.013),dizziness/vertigo(P=0.021),sleep disturbance(P<0.001),and the appearance of blood streaks or prominent veins(P=0.021)were alleviated.Oxygen saturation increased significantly in the intervention group after treatment(P=0.041),while no significant change was observed in the control group(P>0.05).No adverse reactions were reported in any of the 60 patients.Conclusion BQSY can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of qi deficiency syndrome and high-altitude reactions in individuals residing at high altitude,enhance oxygen saturation,and has a favorable safety profile.关键词
