Abstract
In this study,the bleaching performance of kraft softwood pulp with active electrolyzed water at room temperature was investigat-ed,and the effects of process parameters such as pulp-to-liquid ratio and bleaching time on pulp properties including CIE whiteness,Kappa value,polymerization degree of cellulose,and mechanical strength of pulp were analyzed.The results showed that the whiteness of kraft soft-wood pulp could be increased from 22.7%to 71.3%,with a Kappa value of 2.95,polymerization degree of cellulose of 918,and good me-chanical properties under static conditions at room temperature for 12 h.Activated electrolyzed water was colorless,odorless,mild,and non-irritating,with a neutral pH maintained both before and after use.Comprehensive test results indicated that active electrolyzed water contained active oxygen species such as superoxide radicals(·O2-),which could react with the lignin in the pulp effectively,reduced the lig-nin content of pulp,disrupt the chromophore structure,and improved the whiteness of pulp.关键词
