Abstract
Objective To explore the impact of family care intervention based on the transtheoretical model(TTM)on discharge readiness in patients undergoing total hysterectomy for uterine fibroids.Methods A total of 94 patients who underwent total hysterectomy for uterine fibroids at Zhongshan Hospital Xiamen University from July 2023 to June 2025 were enrolled and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group by the use of a random number table,with 47 cases in each group.The control group received routine intervention,while the observation group additionally received family care intervention based on the TTM.The intervention effects were compared between the two groups.Results After 5 days of intervention and before discharge,the observation group showed lower levels of serum aldosterone,norepinephrine,and angiotensin Ⅱ,as well as lower scores on the Activities of Daily Living Scale and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale,compared with the control group.The observation group also exhibited higher scores on all dimensions of the Exercise of Self-Care Agency and Quality of Life Questionnaire(P<0.05).Both groups showed improvements compared with pre-intervention levels(P<0.05).Before discharge,the observation group had a higher score on the Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Family care intervention based on the TTM can improve self-care ability,quality of life,activities of daily living,and discharge readiness,while reducing stress responses and anxiety levels in patients after total hysterectomy for uterine fibroids.关键词
