Abstract
Objective To explore the impact of traditional Chinese medicine hot compress pack combined with emotional nursing on sleep quality,psychological emotions,social function,and quality of life in patients with depressive episodes of bipolar affective disorder.Methods A study was conducted on 106 patients with depressive episodes of bipolar affective disorder who were admitted to Tongde Hospital of Zhejiang Province from January 2020 to August 2024.Participants were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table.The control group(53 cases)received conventional pharmacotherapy and nursing,while the observation group(53 cases)received a combination of traditional Chinese medicine hot compress pack and emotional nursing intervention on the basis of nursing given to the control group.The comparison was made on the rehabilitation outcomes of the two groups,as well as the changes in scores of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD),Social Function Rating Scale(SFRS),and Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74(GQOLI-74).Results After 4 months of intervention,the overall effective rate of rehabilitation in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After 2 and 4 months of intervention,the HAMD and PSQI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,while the SFRS and GQOLI-74 scores were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Both groups showed more significant improvements compared with pre-intervention levels,and outcomes after 4 months of intervention were better than those after 2 months(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of traditional Chinese medicine hot compress pack combined with emotional nursing can effectively improve sleep quality and psychological emotions of patients with depressive episodes of bipolar affective disorder,while enhancing their social function and quality of life as well,yielding favorable rehabilitation outcomes.关键词
