Abstract
Objective To construct an enteral nutrition support strategy based on nutritional risk screening for ovarian cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy,and to analyze its application effect.Methods A total of 108 patients with ovarian cancer who underwent chemotherapy at the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected.According to different nursing methods,they were divided into a control group and an observation group,each with 54 cases.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received the enteral nutrition support strategy based on nutritional risk screening.The anthropometric indicators(body mass index[BMI],triceps skinfold thickness[TSF],arm muscle circumference[AMC]),nutritional status(prealbumin[PAB],albumin[ALB],and total protein[TP]),immune function,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After 1 and 3 months of chemotherapy,the BMI,serum PAB,ALB,and TP levels,lymphocyte count,CD4+T lymphocyte count,and neutrophil count in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups over the 3-month chemotherapy period(P>0.05).Conclusion The implementation of an enteral nutrition support strategy based on nutritional risk screening during chemotherapy in patients with ovarian cancer has positive significance in improving their nutritional status and immune function,and promoting rapid recovery.The strategy is also safe and reliable.关键词
