Abstract
Objective To explore the impact of respiratory function training based on the prevention-care-rehabilitation whole life cycle management model on pulmonary function and quality of life in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods A study was conducted on 80 patients with stable COPD admitted to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from October 2022 to October 2023.They were randomly divided into two groups using the random number table method,namely the control group(40 patients)and the observation group(40 patients).The control group received routine nursing care,while the observation group received respiratory function training based on the prevention-care-rehabilitation whole life cycle management model.The pulmonary function indicators(forced expiratory volume in one second[FEV1],maximal expiratory flow rate at forced expiratory volume of 50%[MEF50%],peak expiratory flow[PEF]),the BODE index(body mass index[B],degree of airflow obstruction[O],dyspnea[D],exercise capacity[E]),St.George's Respiratory Questionnaire(SGRQ),quality of life level(GQOLI-74)were compared between the two groups before intervention and after 6 months of follow-up,and the readmission rate within 6 months after discharge were also compared between two groups.Results After 6 months of follow-up,the FEV1,MEF50%,and PEF levels in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05).The BODE and SGRQ scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the GQOLI-74 scores of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(all P<0.05).The readmission rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of respiratory function training based on the prevention-care-rehabilitation whole life cycle management model in patients with stable COPD has positive significance,which may help improve pulmonary function and quality of life of patients with stable COPD,and may have a positive effect on reducing the risk of readmission.关键词
