Abstract
Objective To identify potential risks in the full-process nursing care of laryngoscopy using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis(FMEA)and to develop targeted intervention strategies for improving nursing safety and quality.Methods Clinical data of 120 patients who underwent laryngoscopy in Zhangjiagang First People's Hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were retrospectively collected(pre-implementation group).After a 3-month implementation period of FMEA,clinical data of another 120 patients who underwent laryngoscopy in the same hospital from June to December 2025 were retrospectively collected(post-implementation group).The nursing outcomes were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the pre-implementation group,the post-implementation group showed significantly lower incidence rates of adverse reactions,procedure interruptions,and mucosal injury/bleeding events,as well as significantly higher patient satisfaction scores(P<0.05).Conclusion The full-process nursing risk management model for laryngoscopy based on FMEA can effectively reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions,procedure interruptions,and mucosal injury/bleeding events,while also improving patient satisfaction.关键词
