Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of the modified Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation(SBAR)communication mode combined with the shift handover safety checklist in bedside handover of intensive care unit(ICU)patients.Methods This was a historical controlled study.A total of 68 ICU patients admitted to Liyang Hospital of Chinese Medicine from January to April 2024 were enrolled as the control group and received routine shift handover.Another 68 ICU patients in the same hospital from May to September 2024 were enrolled as the observation group,who adopted the modified SBAR communication mode combined with the shift handover safety checklist.The scores of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and psychological resilience(optimism,self-reliance,tenacity)were compared between the two groups before intervention,5 days and 10 days after intervention.After 10 days of intervention,the conditions of disease awareness(including disease status,treatment situation,health education and daily life care)and nursing satisfaction were also compared.Results After 5 days and 10 days of intervention,the SDS and SAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the scores of optimism,self-reliance and tenacity in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 10 days of intervention,the scores of disease status,treatment situation,health education and daily life care in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The modified SBAR communication mode combined with the shift handover safety checklist applied in ICU bedside handover can effectively improve patients'psychological status,enhance psychological resilience and nursing satisfaction.关键词
