加味宣白承气汤治疗痰热壅肺型老年非重症社区获得性肺炎(风温肺热病)临床研究
A clinical study on Jiawei Xuanbai Chengqi Tang in the treatment of senile non-severe community-acquired pneumonia of phlegm-heat obstructing the lung syndrome(wind-warm lung-heat disease)

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Jiawei Xuanbai Chengqi Tang(加味宣白承气汤)in treating elderly patients with non-severe community-acquired pneumonia(CAP)of the phlegm-heat obstructing the lung syndrome.Methods:A total of 100 eligible patients diagnosed between September 2018 and September 2019 were divided into an observation group(n=50)and a control group(n=50).The control group received empirical antibiotic therapy,while the observation group received additional Jiawei Xuanbai Chengqi Tang.Therapeutic outcomes were compared between the two groups.Results:Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)symptom scores between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the TCM symptom scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of body temperature recovery,white blood cell count(WBC),neutrophil percentage(NEUT％),C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)levels(P＞0.05).After treatment,the body temperature recovery time,WBC,NEUT％and CRP levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in chest X-ray shadow grade between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the total absorption rate of chest X-ray shadows in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Jiawei Xuanbai Chengqi Tang significantly improves clinical symptoms,reduces inflammatory markers,and promotes radiographic resolution of lung shadows in elderly patients with CAP of the phlegm-heat obstructing the lung syndrome,demonstrating definite clinical efficacy.关键词
