Research Progress on the Regulation of Curcumin on Intestinal Barrier Function in Livestock and Poultry
摘要
Abstract
Curcumin is a polyphenol or diketone compound extracted from the rhizome of turmeric.It has the functions of alleviating oxidative stress in livestock and poultry,enhancing the tight connection between intestinal epithelial cells,regulating immune responses and maintaining intestinal flora balance,and is of great significance to maintaining intestinal health.This paper reviews the positive role of curcumin in regulating intestinal mechanical barriers,immune barriers and microbial barriers,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the rational application of curcumin in livestock and poultry production.关键词
