Abstract
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Efficacy Criteria for Cough in Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Revised Edition)was revised by the Respiratory Medicine Branch of the Beijing Association of the Integrating of Traditional and Western Medicine under the commission of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Based on the principles of evidence-based medicine,this revision updated the criteria through a systematic literature review and two rounds of expert discussions involving 54 experts nationwide,using a rigorous consensus method(support rate≥75%).The main revisions include:① refining the diagnostic criteria by supplementing etiology,disease course stratification(acute,subacute,and chronic),and differential diagnosis;② optimizing syndrome classification into 13 categories,adding new syndrome types such as wind excess with spasm and impaired lung orifice function,and providing corresponding national standard codes;and ③ dividing efficacy evaluation into"cough severity"and"quality of life assessment".The revised criteria highlight TCM characteristics,integrate advances in international cough diagnosis and treatment,and strengthen terminology standardization,providing a scientific basis for TCM cough diagnosis and treatment,scientific research,and quality control.关键词
