LIU Daxin's experience in differentiating and treating otolaryngological diseases based on the"desire-stagnation-Zang organ-orifice"theory
摘要
Abstract
Based on classical traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)theories and clinical practice,Professor LIU Daxin innovatively proposed the"desire-stagnation-Zang organ-orifice"theory.This theory analyzes the connotations of"desire"and"stagnation",clarifies the mechanism of"stagnation arising from desire and desire-induced stagnation causing disease",and elucidates the relationship between"Zang organ as the body for the storage of essence and qi and for performing physiological functions,and orifices as the channels connecting the interior and exterior of the Zang-fu organs"and"orifices as the windows of Zang organ".It reveals that diseases of the sensory orifices are often caused by unfulfilled desires leading to liver qi stagnation,which subsequently affects Zang-fu organ functions and results in abnormal orifice functions.The core pathogenesis involves the heart,liver,and spleen.This theory provides guidance for the diagnosis and treatment of otorhinolaryngological diseases and offers new perspectives for the treatment of related disorders,such as"desire-stagnation-heart-nose","desire-stagnation-liver-ear",and"desire-stagnation-spleen-pharynx".关键词
