摘要

Abstract

Taking 2023 as the base year and 2030 as the planning year for the Haherengole River Basin,this study analyzes the current status of water resources development and utilization in the basin.The quota method is adopted to forecast water demand,and the supply-demand balance method is used to determine the surplus and deficit of water resources in the basin.The results indicate that through the implementation of water resource allocation measures,including the continued supporting facility construction and water-saving retrofitting of irrigation districts,as well as the construction of new regulation and storage reservoirs and supporting wa ter supply projects,the domestic,livestock,and industrial water demands in the Haherengole River Basin can be ensured,the regulation capacity of surface water resources can be enhanced,and the problem of groundwater overexploitation can be alleviated.The findings provide scientific support for the efficient utilization and sustainable management of water resources in the basin,and also offer a ref erence for water resource allocation practices in similar arid-zone river basins.
