Resilience assessment and recovery strategy optimization of road networks under earthquake-induced landslides

Abstract
Earthquake-induced co-seismic landslide clusters can readily block road corridors and degrade the functionality of transportation networks,thereby severely constraining post-earthquake emergency response and material delivery.This study integrates a recursive decomposition algorithm with graph-based modeling to develop a seismic-landslide-oriented resilience assessment and repair-strategy optimization framework for road networks.The method enables rapid computation of OD-pair connectivity under multiple hazard scenarios and introduces an edge-importance-guided parallel neighborhood search for efficient optimization of repair se-quences based on resilience indices.A representative network case study shows that network connectivity ex-hibits a characteristic S-shaped deterioration trend with increasing PGA.Compared with a benchmark strategy based on global edge-importance ranking,the proposed target-oriented local optimization strategy reduces the resilience-loss index of selected OD pairs by approximately 30%and reveals significant marginal effects of re-pair duration and resource allocation on recovery efficiency.The findings provide a quantitative and theoreti-cally grounded approach for risk identification and post-earthquake restoration planning of mountainous road networks threatened by earthquake-induced landslides.关键词
