Abstract

The mega stadium features a complex structural support system and aerodynamic shape,with numer-ous primary vibration modes contributing to its wind-induced response.Constructing a multi-degree-of-freedom aeroelastic model for such structures presents significant challenges.Therefore,using a real mega stadium as a prototype,this paper employs an equivalent method based on an equivalent structure composed of a simplified flexible skeleton and lightweight skin to design and fabricate a multi-degree-of-freedom aeroelastic model of a mega stadium.Structural dynamic characteristics were identified through impact testing of the aero-elastic model.Subsequently,wind tunnel tests were conducted and compared with wind-induced vibration re-sponse calculation results based on pressure measurement tests to validate the accuracy of the aeroelastic model's wind response.Results indicate that the aeroelastic model effectively simulates the dynamic character-istics of the prototype's primary vibration modes.Its wind-induced response aligns well with wind-vibration re-sponse calculation results,demonstrating that the equivalent structural method can reasonably simplify the structural support system while meeting model accuracy requirements,which significantly reduces the com-plexity and cost of constructing aeroelastic models.
