政策激励对生猪养殖户数字技术采纳行为的影响
Impact of institutional incentives on pig farmers' adoption of digital technologies
摘要
Abstract
Digital technology application serves as a key initiative for promoting high-quality development in the livestock industry.Institutional incentives act as the core driving force that guides farmers' adoption of digital technology.Based on micro-survey data from 668 pig farmers in Shandong Province, this study employs the IV-Heckman two-stage model to empirically analyze the effects of institutional incentives on farmers' digital technology adoption behaviors and their underlying mechanisms. The findings are as follows.1)Institutional incentives significantly promote farmers' adoption of digital technology. After robustness tests using variable substitution and sample size reduction, the positive effect of institutional incentives on the degree of digital technology adoption remains significant and stable.2)The transmission mechanism reveals that institutional incentives primarily influence farmers' digital technology adoption through three pathways:alleviating financial constraints, enhancing social capital, and improving technological awareness. The mediating effects of these three pathways account for 9.76%,3.27%and 4.13%of the total effect,respectively.3)Heterogeneity analysis indicates that institutional incentives exert a stronger promoting effect on the degree of digital technology adoption among farmers with fewer years of farming experience, smaller farming scales, and lower incomes. Therefore, governments should design differentiated institutional incentives and comprehensively identify the drivers and constraints affecting farmers' digital technology adoption at multiple levels,so as to facilitate the adoption of digital technology by farmers.关键词
