Abstract
Objective To explore the incidence of IgA vasculitis(IgAV)and IgA vasculitis nephritis(IgAVN)in hospi-talized children and understand their epidemiological characteristics.Methods From January 1,2015 to December 31,2024,clinical data of newly diagnosed IgAV and IgAVN children were collected.Characteristics of IgAV and IgAVN incidence in terms of gender,age,onset time,year of onset,and residential area were analyzed.Results Among 2050 children diagnosed with IgAV,1092 were male and 958 were female,resulting in a male-to-female ratio of 1.14∶1.There were 432 children with IgAVN,of which 228 were male and 204 were female.The incidence of IgAV exhibited a significant difference by gender,whereas the incidence of IgAVN did not.The incidences of IgAV and IgAVN varied significantly across different age groups(P＜0.05).The incidence of IgAV was highest in the 5～9-year-old group(59.0％),and the incidence of IgAVN in the 10～14 year-old group was 25.6％,which was higher than that in other age groups.The incidence of kidney involvement increased with age.The incidence of IgAV var-ied by month,with peaks occurring from January to March and from October to December,accounting for 32.3％(663/2050)and 31.4％(643/2050)respectively.The incidence of IgAVN also differed by month,with a significantly higher incidence from Janu-ary to March(26.5％,176/663)compared to other months.The incidence of IgAV was associated with the year of onset,with the highest incidence in 2017(16.7％).Among 432 children with IgAVN,the incidence was highest in 2019(31.8％).The inci-dences of both IgAV and IgAVN were higher in rural areas than in urban areas.Conclusion The peak incidence of IgAV occurs in January to March and October to December each year,with the peak age of onset being 5～9 years.The incidence of IgAVN is significantly higher in January to March compared to other months,and the incidence of IgAVN increases gradually with age.The incidence of both IgAV and IgAVN is higher in rural areas than in urban areas.关键词
