牙周内窥镜辅助龈下刮治与根面平整术对慢性牙周炎患者残余深牙周袋的治疗效果分析
Analysis on the Therapeutic Effect of Periodontal Endoscope-Assisted Scaling and Root Planing on Residual Deep Periodontal Pockets in Patients with Chronic Periodontitis

Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of periodontal endoscope-assisted scaling and root planing(SRP)on residual deep periodontal pockets in patients with chronic periodontitis.Methods A total of 80 patients with chronic periodontitis(146 teeth with residual deep periodontal pockets)admitted to the Department of Periodontology,Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Xiamen Medical College from January 2024 to December 2025 were enrolled.They were divided into the conventional group(40 cases,72 teeth)and the observation group(40 cases,74 teeth)by the random number table method.The conventional group received traditional SRP treatment,while the observation group received periodontal endoscope-assisted SRP treatment.The periodontal indicators,treatment time,dental treatment anxiety and pain degree were compared between the two groups.Results Repeated measures analysis of variance showed that the time effects of probing depth(PD),clinical attachment loss(CAL),bleeding index(BI)and plaque index(PLI)were statistically significant(P＜0.001).The time × group interaction effects of PD and CAL were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the time × group interaction effects of BI and PLI,nor in the main effects of all indicators between groups(P＞0.05).Intra-group comparison showed that PD,CAL,BI and PLI at 6 weeks and 3 months after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment in both groups(P＜0.05).Inter-group comparison showed that PD and CAL at 6 weeks and 3 months after treatment in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the conventional group(P＜0.05),while there were no statistically significant differences in BI and PLI between the two groups(P＞0.05).The treatment time of the observation group was(16.52±5.21)min,which was significantly longer than(10.02±2.93)min of the conventional group(P＜0.05).Intra-group comparison showed that the Stouthard Dental Anxiety Index(DAI)and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores at 3 months after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment in both groups(P＜0.05).Inter-group comparison showed that the VAS score at 3 months after treatment in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the conventional group(P＜0.05),while there was no statistically significant difference in DAI score between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusions Although periodontal endoscope-assisted SRP for residual deep periodontal pockets in patients with chronic periodontitis prolongs the treatment time,it can more effectively improve PD and CAL,reduce postoperative pain,and does not increase dental treatment anxiety.It is a safe and effective treatment method.关键词
