摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical application and efficacy of autologous costal cartilage grafting in the correction of complex saddle nose deformity. Methods Forty-six patients with congenital saddle nose accompanied by nasal base depression were enrolled. All patients underwent autologous costal cartilage grafting via an open columellar incision.Surgical procedures included construction of the nasal tip support structure, elongation of the columella, augmentation of the nasal base, and appropriate augmentation of the nasal dorsum.Regular follow-up was performed postoperatively to evaluate the improvement in nasal morphology, stability of surgical outcomes, and patient satisfaction. Results All 46 patients recovered uneventfully after surgery. The core nasal morphological indexes(nasal dorsum length, nasal tip height, nasal dorsum depression degree, nasofrontal angle, and nasolabial angle)were significantly improved compared with preoperative values, with statistically significant differences(all P<0.05).No significant fluctuations in the above indexes were observed at each follow-up time point postoperatively, indicating stable outcomes(all P>0.05).All patients were satisfied with the surgical results, and no obvious complications occurred postoperatively. Conclusion Autologous costal cartilage grafting for congenital saddle nose with nasal base depression can effectively correct nasal deformity, reconstruct the nasal tip support structure, and fill nasal base depression.Regular postoperative follow-up confirms that patients present natural and three-dimensional nasal morphology, with significant and long-term stable improvement in various morphological indexes, high patient satisfaction,no obvious complications, and favorable safety and reliability.关键词
