New quality productivity empowering high-quality economic development
摘要
Abstract
Clarifying the role of green technology innovation and digital industry agglomeration in empowering high-quality eco-nomic development with new quality productivity has important theoretical value and practical significance.Using panel data from China's 30 provincial-level administrative regions from 2012 to 2022,this paper examined the enabling mechanisms of new-type productive forces for high-quality economic development from two perspectives:green technological innovation and digital industrial agglomera-tion.Findings indicated that:New-type productive forces could empower high-quality economic development,a conclusion that re-mains robust after a series of stability tests.Mechanism analysis indicates that new-type productive forces empower high-quality eco-nomic development by promoting green technological innovation and digital industrial agglomeration.Spatially,their impact exhibited re-gional heterogeneity:the greatest empowerment occurred in central China,followed by eastern China,with western China experiencing the least effect.Southern China benefited from new-type productive forces,while Northern China faces constrained empowerment.Ana-lyzing new-type productive forces by dimension revealed that new factors exerted the strongest influence on high-quality economic de-velopment,followed by new technologies,with new industries having the least impact.Tests of spatial spillover effects demonstrated that new-type productive forces not only promoted local high-quality economic development but also enhanced high-quality development in surrounding regions through spatial spillover effects.关键词
