Analysis of the relationship between atherosclerosis and erectile dysfunction based on the theory of qi-blood interaction within the vessels

Abstract
Based on the theory of"qi-blood interaction within the vessels,"this article analyzes the relationship between atherosclerosis and erectile dysfunction from the perspectives of qi,blood,and vessels.It points out that the pathogenesis of both conditions is closely related to the dysfunction of qi in warming and propelling roles,as well as the weakened nourishing function of blood.This article explores the common ground between TCM theory and modern pathological mechanisms by correlating the aforementioned disease pathogenesis with mitochondrial dysfunction and endothelial dysfunction in modern medicine.This article reviews classical formulas such as Xiaoyao San and Guipi Tang,which have therapeutic effects on both conditions.It provides evidence for the application of the"treating different diseases with the same method"theory from the perspective of formula-syndrome correspondence,aiming to broaden the clinical treatment approaches for atherosclerosis and erectile dysfunction.关键词
