Abstract
Objective:To explore the distribution characteristics of serum ferritin,vitamin B12 and folic acid levels in patients with recurrent oral ulcer(ROU)in Hohhot,Inner Mongolia and analyze their relationships with disease occur-rence.Methods:From July 2024 to July 2025,60 patients with mild ROU who were admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of In-ner Mongolia Medical University were enrolled as ROU group,and 60 healthy individuals undergoing physical examination were included in control group.Serum ferritin,vitamin B12,folic acid and related hematological indicators were detected in the two groups,and the demographic characteristics,living habits and family history were collected.The independent risk fac-tors for ROU occurrence were analyzed by Logistic regression analysis.Results:The levels of serum ferritin,vitamin B12 and folic acid in ROU group were all lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Serum ferritin,vitamin B12 and folic acid defi-ciency rate were higher in ROU group than those in control group(P<0.05).The proportions of patients with high work-relat-ed stress,preference for spicy foods,irregular meals,less than 3 times of physical exercise per week,positive family history of oral ulcers and history of chronic gastritis in ROU group were all higher compared to control group(P<0.05).Regression a-nalysis revealed that serum ferritin deficiency,vitamin B12 deficiency,folic acid deficiency,high work-related stress and fami-ly history of oral ulcers were independent risk factors influencing the occurrence of ROU(P<0.05).Conclusion:ROU pa-tients in Hohhot,Inner Mongolia suffer from multiple nutrient deficiencies,with ferritin,vitamin B12 and folic acid deficien-cies as the core,which is closely associated with high stress status and positive family history.Clinically,serum ferritin,vita-min B12 and folic acid levels should be included in the routine detection of ROU patients,and a comprehensive intervention strategy combining nutritional supplementation and lifestyle adjustment should be implemented.关键词
