Abstract
Taking a specific expressway project as a case study,this paper conducted extensive specialized research.Iterative feedback and mutual validation were achieved through dedicated investigations of coal seam mined-out areas,integrated geophysical prospecting techniques,tunnel risk assessments,and drilling operations.Considering the geological characteristics of different sections and the applicable scope of geophysical methods,novel super-high-density electrical methods and magnetotelluric methods were employed respectively for subgrade and tunnel site detection and interpretation.Based on the identification of eight major safety hazards for a specific tunnel(portal instability,karst cave hazards,collapse,water/mud inrush,gas disasters,goaf subsidence,structural failure,and operational fire),this paper determined the initial and residual risk levels for individual risk events and the overall tunnel structure.The findings from the tunnel safety risk assessment were then applied to guide geological route selection.关键词
