摘要
Abstract
Objective:To conduct an opportunistic survey among mothers of children aged 9~14 years in pediatric out-patient clinics,so as to investigate their awareness of human papillomavirus(HPV)and its preventive vaccine as well as their willingness to vaccinate their children, and to explore relevant influencing factors. Methods:This cross-sectional study recruited mothers of children aged 9~14 who received physical examinations in the Pediatric Outpatient Department of Jian-yang People's Hospital from June 2025 to January 2026 as research subjects.A self-administered questionnaire was distribu-ted to investigate their awareness of HPV,its preventive vaccine and cervical cancer,as well as their willingness to vaccinate their children against HPV.Multivariate Logistic regression model was adopted to identify factors associated with HPV vaccination willingness. Results:Among 232 mothers, the awareness rate of HPV was 71.55%,the awareness rate of HPV transmission routes was 35.34%,the awareness rate of ma-jor HPV genotypes was 20.26%,and the awareness rate of HPV vaccine was 80.17%.The awareness rate of the association between HPV infection and cervical cancer was 59.48%,and that of the association between HPV vaccination and cervical cancer was 64.66%.The rate of mothers willing to receive HPV vaccination themselves was 83.62%,with an actual vacci-nation rate of 14.22%;the rate of mothers willing to vaccinate their children against HPV was 78.02%,while the actual vaccination rate among children was only 4.31%.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that having a daughter(OR=2.790,95%CI:1.064~7.319),older child age(OR=3.012,95%CI:1.673~5.423),awareness of HPV(OR=3.737,95%CI:1.243~11.230),awareness of the association between HPV infection and cervical cancer(OR=7.228,95%CI:2.631~19.855),and awareness of the association between HPV vaccination and cervical cancer(OR=13.662,95%CI:5.063~36.866)were independent factors associated with mothers'willingness to vaccinate their children against HPV(all P<0.05).Conclusion:Mothers of children aged 9~14 years show high willingness to vaccinate their kids against HPV,yet the actual vaccination rate remains extremely low.Key factors affecting vaccination willingness include having a daughter, older child age,and mothers'mastery of core knowledge that HPV infection leads to cervical cancer and vaccination can effectively prevent HPV infection.Strengthening health education on core knowledge and facilitating the transformation of knowledge into attitude and practice are the keys to raising vaccination coverage.关键词
