A Refutation of the Proposition that"Quantum Management Equates to Chinese Management"

Abstract
In recent years,the theory of quantum management has garnered extraordinary attention and acclaim within China's management academia,and some scholars even regard it as a contempo-rary expression of"Chinese management".From a critical perspective,this paper systematically reviews the ideological pedigree and academic legitimacy of quantum management,and thor-oughly distinguishes its fundamental divergences from Chinese management in cultural roots,practical foundations and theoretical objectives.This study argues that quantum management is es-sentially a metaphorical managerial discourse lacking rigorous academic norms and practical verifi-cation.Equating quantum management with Chinese management not only narrows and misinter-prets China's five-millennium managerial wisdom,but also contains logical fallacies including"physics envy"and methodological dislocation.Chinese management scholars should guard against the disruption of such"academic packaging"to the construction of an independent knowledge system,and promote authentic management theoretical innovation rooted in Chinese practice underpinned by cultural confidence.关键词
