摘要

Abstract

The highly stable silica powder composite materials can effectively improve the defects of the aerogel,such as high brittleness and unstable mechanical properties.Using the sol-gel method under ambient pressure dr-ying,the study prepared high-temperature stable silica aerogel composites with varying silica powder mesh sizes and content.The composite formed by silica micropowder and silica aerogel had good hydrophobicity and large specific surface area(>590 m2/g),and its contact angle and BET specific surface area were the largest when the content of silica micropowder was 9%;when the content of silicon micropowder was 3%~15%,the particle size of the com-posite material tends to increase with the increase of silicon micropowder content.This work establishes an effective method for preparing inorganic matrix silica aerogel composites.The strengthened thermal stability and larger specif-ic surface area broaden their application prospects in fields such as thermal insulation and environmental protection.
