Recent Progress on Poly(ether-block-amide)-based CO2 Separation Membranes

Abstract
Since the industrial revolution,CO2 emissions have continued to increase,leading to a growing demand for CO2 separation and capture technologies.Membrane separation technology is crucial in this field because of its unique advantages,such as small size,environmental friendliness,and low cost.Poly(ether-block-amide)(Pebax),a specific type of block copolymer,consists of two segments.Polyether(PE)segment provides gas permeability,while the polyamide(PA)segment offers mechanical strength,making it an ideal material for CO2 separation.However,the"Trade-off"effect between permeability and selectivity limits their performance in gas separation.A large amount of work has been presented to overcome the problem.This review focuses on the Pebax-based CO2 separation membrane.It provides a comprehensive overview of recent advances in Pebax-based CO2 separation membranes,including strategies for regulating microphase separation,blending with small molecules,and incorporating fillers.It aims to provide valuable insights for developing high-performance Pebax-based CO2 separation membranes.关键词
