摘要
Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of preoperative hypofractionated radiotherapy and conventional fractionated radiotherapy in patients with rectal cancer. Methods A total of 80 patients with rectal cancer admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were enrolled as research subjects. The patients were divided into a control group and a study group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. All patients were scheduled for surgical treatment. The control group received conven-tional fractionated radiotherapy before operation, while the study group received hypofractionated radiotherapy. The clinical efficacy of radiotherapy, perioperative indicators, postoperative improvement of clinical symptoms, quality of life and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The objec-tive response rate and disease control rate after radiotherapy in the study group were 50.00%and 95.00%,which were significantly higher than those in the control group(27.50%and 77.50%)(all P<0.05).The total preoperative treatment cost of the study group[(19.8±2.6)thousand yuan]was markedly lower than that of the control group[(29.7±4.1)thousand yuan](P<0.05).The postoperative symptom scores of hematochezia(1.03±0.25),frequent defecation(1.26±0.32)and pain(1.32±0.22)in the study group were all lower than those in the control group(1.54±0.32,1.51±0.22,1.71±0.22)(all P<0.001).The postoperative quality of life scores in physical domain(71.58±6.54),psychological domain(60.11±6.28),social relationships domain(51.91±3.69)and environmental domain(50.11±3.65)of the study group were higher than those of the control group(65.14±5.44,55.84±6.21,49.21±2.68,46.21±2.48)(all P<0.05 or P<0.001).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group(32.50%)was lower than that in the control group(75.00%)(P<0.001).Conclusion Compared with conventional fractionated radio-therapy,preoperative hypofractionated radiotherapy achieves superior clinical outcomes in patients with rectal cancer. It can more effectively relieve clinical symptoms, improve patients'quality of life, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and cut down treatment costs, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.关键词
