Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of modified Gegen Qinlian Decoction combined with Saccharomyces boulardii sachets for infantile rotavirus enteritis.Methods A total of 80 children diagnosed with rotavirus enteritis admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to January 2026 were selected as research subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received routine Western medicine treatment and oral Saccharomyces boulardii sachets,while the observation group was additionally given oral modified Gegen Qinlian Decoction on the basis of the therapeutic regimen of the control group.The two groups were compared in terms of total clinical effective rate,disappear-ance time of symptoms,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores before and after treatment,inflammatory indicators,changes in intestinal flora,and incidence of adverse reactions.Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 95.00%,which was significantly higher than 80.00%of the control group(P<0.05).The time for fever relief,vomiting disappearance,diarrhea cessation,dehydration correction and rotavirus turning negative in the observation group were all shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.001).After treatment,TCM syndrome scores,white blood cell count(WBC),C-reactive protein(CRP)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment,and the reduction range in the observation group was more prominent(P<0.001).After treatment,the levels of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium in the observation group were higher,while the level of Escherichia coli was lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidences of adverse reactions in the control group and the observation group were 7.50%and 10.00%respectively,with no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Modified Gegen Qinlian Decoction combined with Saccha-romyces boulardii sachets can improve the clinical efficacy of infantile rotavirus enteritis,accelerate symptom resolution and viral clearance,alleviate inflammatory reactions and regulate intestinal flora,with reliable safety profile.关键词
