Colposcopic evaluation and referral strategy for lower genital tract lesions associated with human papillomavirus infection
摘要
Abstract
Persistent high-risk HPV(hr-HPV)infection serves as the primary etiological driver of cervical and other lower genital tract malignancies and precancerous lesions.The colposcopy enables the precise localization of biopsy sites and facilitates risk stratification and assessment following abnormal screening results,playing a pivotal role in the early diagnosis of the above lesions,which can significantly increase the diagnostic precision while mitigating the risks of overdiagnosis and overtreatment.A comprehensive assessment of the lesions should be made based on screening findings,colposcopic results,histopathological diagnosis,disease history and clinical manifestations.关键词
