Abstract
Objective To explore the distribution characteristics of allergens in children with allergic conjunctivitis in Tianjin and provide a basis for precise clinical prevention and control. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of 1402 children diagnosed with allergic conjunctivitis in the Ophthalmology Department of Tianjin Children's Hospital from January 2024 to December 2025.The total IgE and specific IgE(sIgE)levels of 19 allergens were detected using the Mediwiss allergen screening system, and stratified analysis was performed by age and season. Results Among inhalant allergens, mold mixture(347,24.75%),grass(232,16.55%),and cat hair(226,16.12%)were the most common;among food allergens,milk(249,17.76%),egg white(80,5.71%),and cashew(66,4.71%)were the main ones. The total sensitization rate of inhalant allergens(712,50.78%)was significantly higher than that of food allergens(367,26.18%)(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the sensitization rates of inhalant and food allergens among different age groups(P<0.05),and the sensitization rate of food allergens gradually decreased with age, while that of inhalant allergens gradually increased. In terms of seasonal distribution, only the sensitization rates of milk and mango among food allergens showed significant differences among different seasons(P<0.05);among inhalant allergens, only amaranth, house dust mite, mulberry, cat hair, grass, and tree allergens showed significant seasonal differences(P<0.05).Conclusions The distribution of allergens in children with allergic conjunctivitis in Tianjin has obvious age and seasonal specificity, with inhalant allergens being dominant, and mold mixture and milk being the main allergens.Clinically, targeted prevention and intervention strategies can be formulated based on the above charac-teristics.关键词
