Abstract
To investigate the response relationships between soil moisture at different depths and meteorological factors, measured data from the Pishihang evaporation experimental station collected from May to September 2025 were analyzed.Based on comparative measurements using the oven-drying method, two sets of conduit-based automatic monitoring devices,D-1 and D-2,were selected to continuously monitor soil moisture at depths of 10,20,and 40 cm.Concurrent observations of soil evaporation, precipitation, sunshine duration, air temperature, relative humidity, and other meteorological variables were also incorporated to investigate the correlation characteristics between soil moisture and meteorological factors. The results showed that soil moisture at the 10 cm depth exhibited the most pronounced response to fluctuations in meteorological factors, showing a negative correlation with soil evaporation and a positive correlation with precipitation. Thus, the 10 cm soil layer could serve as a key indicator for agricultural drought monitoring and water resource management.Soil moisture at depths of 20 and 40 cm exhibited a distinct time-lagged response,as both precipitation infiltration and evaporative water loss required longer time scales to affect variations in deep-layer soil moisture.Multiple linear regression models were established using soil moisture at different depths as the dependent variable and meteorological factors as independent variables. The model explained 62.2%of the variability in soil moisture at 10 cm depth, indicating that it can effectively characterize the response of surface soil moisture to meteorological factors.关键词
